Duo
Guitarinet, the winner of the prestigious 2007 Wroclaw Music Prize awarded for the album
Impresiones Argentinas, was formed by Jan Jakub Bokun (clarinet) and Krzysztof Pelech
(guitar) in 1996. Musicians explore a wide variety of music by Latin American composers.
In addition to the music of the worlds most famous tango composer- Astor Piazzolla,
the duo also performs works of Egberto Gismonti, Benedetto Lacerda, Sergio Assad, Celso
Machado and Radames Gnattali.
Their first CD, Duo Guitarinet , was released in Poland by the Dux label. The album has been enthusiastically received in the international press and nominated for the 2000 Polish Music Industry Award. The second CD entitled Duo Guitarinet-10th Anniversary Album has been released in September 2006 on JBRecords, followed by Impresiones Argentinas, recorded with Camerata Moravia in the Czech Republic.
Since their successful debut in 1996 at the Teatr Polski in Wroclaw, Poland, the duo has received invitations to perform at numerous international festivals in Poland, Argentina, Chile, Germany, France, Holland, Spain, Italy, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

Laurent Boutros, France

Laurent Boutros
was born in 1964 in Maisons-Alfort , near Paris. While still young he attracted to music
from oral traditions, and became interested in Flamenco, then popular Brazilian and
Argentinian music, final folowing the music through to his origins.

Timo Korhonen, Suomi

Timo Korhonen, (b. November 6, 1964 in Rautalampi, Finland) has performed in more than 30 countries. He has appeared with orchestras under Esa-Pekka Salonen, Sakari Oramo, Osmo Vänskä, Leif Segerstam, Jukka-Pekka Saraste, Susanna Mälkki, Tuomas Hannikainen, Joseph Swensen and John Storgårds. Timo Korhonen made his début at the age of 14 and began his international career at the age of 17 when he became the youngest ever winner of the guitar category in the ARD competition in Munich. He has studied with Oscar Ghiglia, Seppo Siirala and Pekka Vesanen. Korhonens repertoire includes the entire core repertoire written for his instrument. He has premiered more than 40 new works, and composers such as Magnus Lindberg, Leo Brouwer and Toshio Hosokawa have written works for him. Timo Korhonen is the founder and artistic director of the international GUITARISTIVAL competition and festival, and from 1998 to 2000 he was the artistic director of the Suomenlinna Culinary Concerts in Helsinki. He is a Docent at the Turku Music Academy. From January 2005 to the end of June 2007 he was a visiting professor at the national Luigi Cherubini Conservatory in Florence. He was teacher at the Sibelius Academy in 1989-1999. His students have won more than 40 prizes in international competitions.

Erik Sten

Erik Sten började sin
musikaliska bana på 1970-talet som trummis/slagverkare men bytte efter ett antal år till
flamencogitarr.
ESFF har även gjort några
större projekt bl.a. Big Band Flamenco Fusion 1998 med Stockholm Jazz
Orchestra samt körverket Misa Flamenca 2003 tillsammans med Adolf
Fredriks ungdomskör . Bägge skrivna och arrangerade av Erik Steen och Johan Alenius
Vid sidan av guppen har Erik
även gjort en hel del teatermusik och även medverkat på bl.a. Riksteatern ,Unga Riks ,
Gottsundateatern (Uppsala), Samiska teatern (Kiruna), Stadsteatern i Stockholm , Dramaten
samt ett antal fria teatergrupper. Mellan 1999-2000 arrangerade Erik
tillsammans med gitarrsten Mårten Karlholm operan Carmen tillsammans med operasångare
och dansare på Reginateatern i Stockholm. Föreställningen spelades närmare 120
ggr.
Han har också gjort en hel
del filmmusik både till spelfilm och dokumentärer och naturfilm.
2007 blev Erik som en av få
utlänningar inbjuden att delta som solist på Spaniens största Flamenco Festival
Suma Flamenca i Madrid.

Javier Garcia Moreno, Spain

After a concert in Recital Hall in Carnegi Hall the American Journal of Classical Guitar wrote, "Javier Garcia Moreno got the teknique of international caliber, but in front of all he is a fascinating guitarist". Javier Garcia Moreno was born 1966 in Malaga. He conceived his exam at the academy of music in Madrid. Javier has played concerts in most of the major classical arena of the world.
